I havent signed onto this thing for a good while. I've been pretty pre-occupied with The Wolfbund ([link]). I recently tested and I am now Drengr(learner) 2nd degree. The Wolfbund is a "svartiskoli" or "black School" of Germanic Magic, ie. the runes, galdr, taufr, seidhr, hamrammr. Joining this organization has set me back on the path I originally was on. The goal of this organization is a magical one, self-transformation, as opposed to a "religious" goal of worship. In the true path of Óðinn, "sjalfr sjalfum mer" The giving of oneself to oneSelf. Óðinn, as the ultimate magician serves the point of emulation rather than worship in this practice. When you apply these lessons while reading the Havamal, especially the initiatory ritual of rune winning. It goes deeper than can be imagined, and I have set my path upon that which shall peel the veil to the mysteries. When the act of giving "an eye" for the knowledge, the vision has never been clearer. I am learning much more about myself than I ever could have imagined.

In art related news, I have made a Seax (viking style knife), various new plaques and boxes, a ritual robe with runes around the sleeves, I also plan on doing a new wolf-themed drinking horn, which I will surely post pictures of. In closing, I have been busy, but the good kind of busy. The change has been set forth, I am faring through the nine worlds, and seeing what I have never seen. It's a wondrous feeling, and it is only getting stronger.
