6" plaque with futhark alphabet, and sun-wheel burned into it. The sides were painted with a Dark Brown acrylic paint. It has yet to be sprayed with a sealer. I really enjoy how this turned out.

I'm just breaking into pyrography myself; I can appreciate how difficult it is to get a design right . . . once the pyrograph hits the wood, boom, you're committed to the mark you just made, and mistakes are permanent. Grattis on a near-flawless design and execution! It looks beautiful.

Thank you! I am my own biggest critic for sure. My work has increased greatly over time, with practice. It seems with my experience it takes a good bit of time to get used to working with the pen, and how fast it burns the wood, as well as different types of wood. It's easy to get discouraged at first when things don't turn out the way you want them. I hope to see more of your work, and you continue to pursue it!

My work has vastly improved since this work has been done. The Original is still in my possession, but I would be happy to do a more up-to-date version of it. Send me a message if you are interested!

nice use of the sun wheel in the center, its both artistically beautiful, and still contains meaning in its design.

beautiful! I especially love the Slavic Sunwheel in there because it is rare to see. I have a tattoo of it on my back.
